TRADING STATEMENT

TClarke plc ("TClarke" or the "Group") the Building Services Group announces a trading update ahead of the announcement of its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2013.

Since the Interim Management Statement made on 19 November 2013 trading has continued in line with the Board's expectations. However our assessment of the Group's 2013 results does include one major contract that is nearing completion where the final settlement remains outstanding. We have currently recognised no profit or loss on the project and final account negotiations with the Principal Contractor are ongoing.

We are pleased to report that, despite this pressure, our net cash position remained positive.  We recorded a net cash position of just over £1 million as at 31 December 2013.

As we expected, market conditions remained tough during 2013. The forward order book is solid and is being replenished with new projects.  As at 31 December 2013 it stood at £250m (31 December 2012: £230m).  There is more optimism in the UK construction market and we are winning assignments on some of the most exciting and prestigious construction projects across the country which is encouraging for 2014 and beyond.
