Taylor Woodrow plc announces that Norman Broadhurst, a non-executive director of
the company has decided to step down from the board and from his associated 
appointments with the group, with effect from 30 November 2003, following 31/2 
years in office.

Norman Askew, Chairman, thanked Mr. Broadhurst for the assistance he had
received from him following his appointment as Chairman.

Andrew Dougal, BAcc., CA, an independent non-executive member of the board, will
succeed Mr. Broadhurst as Chairman of the Audit Committee.
