                                 Result of EGM

Tanfield Group Plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce that at its EGM held
today at 11 a.m. all resolutions were passed allowing the Company to:

  • increase the Company's authorised share capital from £3,000,000 to
    £3,500,000 by the creation of an additional, 50,000,000 new Ordinary Shares;
    and

  • allot up to 80,000,000 new Ordinary Shares in the Placing for cash
    pursuant to Sections 80 and 95 of the Companies Act 1985.
