Interim bridge funding at Smith Electric Vehicles Corp.

The Board of Tanfield announces that its US associated company, Smith Electric Vehicles Corp. ("Smith"), in which it has a 24% interest, has filed a Form D with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission reporting its receipt of a total $6.5 m of  interim bridge funding. 

The further funding allows Smith to continue its exploration of financing options to deliver its strategy and execute the next phase of its business plan.
