Tanfield has today made application for 1,282,918 ordinary shares to be
admitted to trading on AIM.

The ordinary share was issued as a result of the exercise of options but due to 
an administrative error has not yet been admitted to trading. Admission is 
expected to occur on 28 December 2006.


As a result of this admission the issued share capital of the Company is
292,072,467 ordinary shares.
