Transaction in Own Shares

Tandem Group plc ('Tandem') announces that on 22 February 2008, it purchased
1,600,000 of its ordinary shares at a price of 15 pence per ordinary share. 
These shares are to be held as treasury shares.

Following the above purchase and transfer into treasury, the total number of
Tandem ordinary shares in issue (excluding the total of 1,600,000 ordinary
shares held in treasury) is 35,984,412.
