Property Disposal
Tandem Group plc, the UK's second largest manufacturer of bicycles, announced
today the disposal of its surplus Bedford New Mills property at Leigh in
Lancashire for net sale proceeds of £381,000. The proceeds, which are payable
in cash on completion on 15 July 1999, will be used to reduce borrowings.
The property has a book value of £383,000.
