AGM Statement

Traction Technology PLC 15 March 2007 TRACTION TECHNOLOGY PLC ('Traction' or 'the Company') Annual General Meeting Statement Nick Brayshaw, Chairman of Traction Technology Plc, said at today's AGM: 'Since listing on AIM in December last year, the Company has continued to focus on the design and delivery of its environmentally friendly, low emission Series Diesel Electric Hybrid engine system, aimed initially at the public transport sector. 'Trials are being conducted on active routes with Transport for London operator Epsom Coaches, on an Optare single-deck bus. The Company has upgraded and refitted a further vehicle with Arriva North West that is operating on Merseytravel's CATCH Project. A trial is scheduled to begin next month in Ipswich and in February the Company announced that another trial with bus company Arriva Southern Counties ('Arriva SC') would commence shortly. 'Arriva SC will run a single-deck bus in the Surrey and West Sussex areas, on active routes, to gain real time experience and operational data on its performance with Traction's hybrid engine system. 'The growing recognition of the environmental benefits that come from hybrid vehicles - particularly for the stop-start urban cycle - coupled with increasing political and regulatory pressures, leaves the Company well positioned for future success. 'We look forward to maintaining the Company's position at the forefront of hybrid technology development.' All resolutions proposed at the AGM held today were passed.
