                   Appointment of new non-executive director



Yule Catto & Co plc announces that Mr Colin Williams has been appointed as a
non-executive director.

Mr Williams, 63, has some 40 years of international management experience and
was, until retirement earlier this year, one of the most senior executives at
SCA, a leading producer of packaging and hygiene products.

For many years Mr Williams was based in Brussels and was responsible for SCA's
global packaging business. Latterly he was President of SCA's North American
hygiene and packaging operations and responsible for its global packaging growth
markets business.
