DISCLOSURE OF INTEREST IN ORDINARY SHARES

Synstar Plc received notification on 7 March 2001 that 
following a transfer into management of 1,091,233 
shares, Legal & General Investment Management Limited's 
holding in the Company is now 5,285,141 ordinary shares.  
This represents 3.25 percent of the Company's issued 
share capital.
