Shareholder Notification

Synstar plc received notification on 12 June 2000 that funds managed by FMR
Corp, and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, and Fidelity International
Limited and its direct and indirect subsidiaries have reduced their
shareholding in Synstar plc and no longer have a notifiable interest in the
ordinary shares of the company.
