Roy Passaway Retires as Group Finance Director

Further to the announcement made on 8 December 1999 that Roy Passaway, 
Group Finance Director of Synstar Plc, intended to retire from the 
Board of Directors, the Company today announces that Roy has now 
retired with immediate effect.
