HOLDING IN COMPANY


The Company was notified on 12 May 2003 that Aberforth Partners ('Aberforth')
has a notifiable interest in 18,217,295 ordinary shares of 1p each in the
Company ('Shares') representing approximately 11.21% of the Company's issued
ordinary share capital. The interest arises as a result of discretionary
management powers which Aberforth can exercise over their clients' funds and is
not beneficial.
