HOLDING IN COMPANY


The Company today received notification from CVC Capital Partners Limited
('CVC') that CVC and its direct and indirect advised interests (the 'CVC
Funds'), have a notifiable interest of 17,875,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in
the Company ('Shares'), representing 11.00 per cent. of the Company's issued
ordinary share capital.

Within those interests notified above Jonathan Feuer as a non-Executive director
of Synstar has sold 127,364 ordinary shares and now has a beneficial holding of
250,000 ordinary shares, representing approximately 0.15 per cent. of the
Company's issued ordinary share capital.
