HOLDING IN COMPANY

On 8 April 2002 the Company received notification, dated 4 April 2002, that
Fidelity International Limited ('FIL''), and its direct and indirect
subsidiaries, including Fidelity Investment Services Limited ('FISL'), were
non-beneficially interested in 7,474,423 ordinary shares of 1p each ('Shares')
in the Company, representing approximately 4.60% of the Company's issued share
capital.

The Company today received further notification, dated 5 April 2002, that FIL,
and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, including FISL, have a non-beneficial
interest in 5,821,055 Shares, representing approximately 3.58% of the Company's
issued share capital.
