Appointment of Executive Director

Synergia Energy Ltd ("Synergia Energy" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Ashish Khare as an Executive Director of Synergia Energy, finalised effective today, having served as Synergia's Head of India Assets since 2016.

A qualified Chemical Engineer with training in Petroleum Management, Ashish has held key positions in prominent companies in India, including Reliance Petroleum, Enron LNG and Cairn India. His extensive experience spans across different sectors within the industry, including upstream oil and gas exploration and production, as well as midstream (LNG and gas network) and downstream (Refineries and Petrochem) project implementation.

Synergia Energy CEO, Mr Roland Wessel, said:

"Ashish possesses a wealth of knowledge and expertise accumulated over more than two decades in the Indian petroleum industry. Since 2015, Ashish has steered the Company's Indian business through various challenges with skill and determination. Ashish was instrumental in the resumption of the Cambay field production in 2022 and the recent Farm Out Agreement with Selan Exploration. I am delighted to welcome Ashish to the Synergia Energy board of directors."

There is no other information that is required to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph (g) of Schedule Two to the AIM Rules for Companies.
