QUADNETICS GROUP PLC (the 'Company')

HOLDINGS IN COMPANY

The Company received notification yesterday from Hermes Administration Services
Limited on behalf of Britel Fund Trustees Ltd : The Trustees of BT Pension
Scheme that following a purchase on 29 April 2005 it now has a direct holding of
583,339 shares in the Company. This represents 5.03% of Quadnetics issued share
capital.

In addition the Company also received notification yesterday from Hermes
Administration Services Limited on behalf of Royal Mail Trustees Ltd : Possfund
Custodian Trustee Ltd that following a purchase on 29 April 2005 it now has a
holding of 404,661 shares in the Company. This represents 3.49% of Quadnetics
issued share capital.
