Result of General Meeting

Synchronica plc, the AIM listed mobile email, instant messaging and data synchronisation provider, announces that all Resolutions proposed at the General Meeting held today were duly passed. The passing of the Resolutions enables the purchase of Colibria's IMPS business (the "Acquisition") as detailed in the announcement dated 31 March 2010 to proceed.

David Mason, Chairman, commented:

"The purchase of Colibria's Instant Messaging software is highly complementary to Synchronica's mobile email and synchronization suite and gives us increased advantage in the rapidly expanding market for mobile messaging software. Also, the contracts acquired from Colibria give us access to key clients in high growth areas, including Latin America, Africa and CIS."

Further details of the Resolutions and the Acquisition are set out in the circular published by Synchronica and sent to shareholders on 31 March 2010. 

It is expected that the Acquisition will complete on 22 April 2010 and the Placing and Initial Consideration Shares will start trading on that day.
