Synchronica plc ('Synchronica' or 'the Company', ticker AIM: SYNC) was notified 
on 17 April 2007 that as at 16 April 2007:

Brewin Dolphin Securities Ltd held a total of 2,663,500 voting rights in the 
Company which, as at that date, represented approximately 3.32% of the total 
voting rights of the Company.

The change in the holding of Brewin Dolphin Securities Ltd occurred as a result 
of the placing of 43,750,000 New Ordinary Shares on April 16, prior to which the 
holdings of Brewin Dolphin Securities Ltd represented approximately 7.32% of the 
total voting rights of the Company.
