Product Expansion Launch & Global Conference

 

Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc (AIM: SYM), global specialists in "making plastic smarter", with d2w controlled-life, d2p anti-bacterial and d2t anti-counterfeiting technologies is pleased to announce the following.

 

The start of Symphony's fourth global conference at its Borehamwood headquarters. Some 28 distributor from 26 countries will be attending this three day event. Distributors, VIP's and press are also attending. There will be product presentations, and technical and legislative briefings that focus on the expanding markets for Symphony's cost effective products and systems to address the issue of plastic waste in the environment, and the reduction of food waste, as well as protection from cross contamination in health care, leisure etc.

 

New and synergistic products were launched at the Conference within the d2p brand which will open up opportunities to expand further into the anti-bacterial and anti-fungal, and food-contact markets. This expansion will include a newly developed d2p anti-mosquito and insecticide master-batch for sale into existing markets in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.  

 

Today Symphony is proud to announce completion of the integration of its R&D and Testing Facilities into one new facility at its Borehamwood Headquarters, which will be formally opened by The Mayor of Elstee & Borehamwood and also Michael Stephen on behalf of the Symphony Board. This new facility will provide a more efficient test and R&D process for the Company's expanding markets and product-range.

 

At today's conference Symphony will announce the expansion of its core products to include master-batch colour systems for plastic products, which will be traded under the Symphony Environmental brand.

 

The Company will announce at the Conference further commercial progress for the tyre recycling division by presenting a newly formed Company named Tyre Recycling Technologies Ltd.  Symphony will retain a minority shareholding, and will license, subject to contract, part of its tyre recycling technology. Further announcements will be made in due course.
