               Symphony Plastic Technologies plc (the 'Company')

                              Exercise of Options


Symphony Plastic Technologies plc has applied for 34,000 ordinary shares of 1p
each to be admitted to trading on AIM following the valid exercise of options
granted to Canaccord Capital (Europe) Limited.

These new Ordinary Shares have been allotted and will rank pari passu in all
respects with the existing Ordinary Shares.  Admission is expected to become
effective at 8.00 am on 5 April 2002.
