                               Additional Listing



Symphony Plastic Technologies, the degradable plastics company, announces that
it has approved the allotment of 240,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each ('New
Ordinary Shares') at a price of 12.5p per share to Bostock and Pollitt, the
Company's UK marketing company.



The New Ordinary Shares will on admission rank pari passu in all respects with
the existing ordinary shares in the Company and application has been made for
the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to AIM.  Admission is expected to become
effective at 8.00 a.m. on 4 October 2004.
