Exercise of Options

Symphony Plastic Technologies plc has applied for 50,000 ordinary shares of 1p
each to be admitted to trading on AIM following the valid exercise of options
granted to Canaccord Capital (Europe) Limited.

These new Ordinary Shares have been allotted and will rank pari passu in all
respects with the existing Ordinary Shares.  Application has been made for the
new ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and it is expected that
dealings will commence on 16 July 2002
