East Quays site, Sutton Harbour, update

The Company has previously reported on its East Quays site at Sutton Harbour, Plymouth, of which part (approx. one third) had been reserved for the development of new premises for the BBC. The Company holds live planning consents for two development options for residential and commercial space on the site. As a result of delays to the overall development the Company has recently been advised that the BBC does not intend to relocate to Sutton Harbour. Consequently, the Company and the BBC have now finalised terms to extinguish all previous agreements between them in connection with the site without incurring further material costs to either party.

The Company regards the c.1.25 acre southwest facing site, with views across Sutton Harbour, as one of the finest sites currently available for development in the region and is currently following up other lines of interest.
