                              Director Share Sale

Surface Transforms ('the Company') was notified on 12th August 2004 that on 11th
August 2004 Non-Executive Director David Clark and his wife Mrs Joy Clark sold a
total of 15,000 Ordinary Shares at 67 pence each to satisfy personal commitments. 
Mr Clark and his wife retain a holding of 979,661 shares in the Company 
representing 7.13 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
