UPDATE RE DRILLING RESULTS

On 6 September 2012 the Company advised the completion of ten drill holes on the Cue kimberlite project in Western Australia (CURC1-11, CURC2 having been cut short for technical reasons) and then on 22 January 2013 advised the results of diamond evaluation of samples of the Cue 1 kimberlite dyke taken from three of those ten drill holes.

As stated on 6 September 2012, five of the 10 holes were drilled to test the Cue 1 kimberlite dyke. The objective was to sample fresh kimberlite below the zone of surface weathering. This weathered zone can be between 10m and 60m thick.  There was some uncertainty as to the dip direction of the kimberlite dyke before the drilling started and so two holes were essentially scouting holes to probe the exact subsurface location of the kimberlite and assess the depth of weathering so that the other three holes could be targeted to intersect fresh kimberlite below the weathered zone. This is why only three of the five holes testing the Cue 1 kimberlite were sampled for microdiamonds and subsequently reported on.

The further five holes were more routine exploration holes drilled, as stated, on geological and geochemical targets as part of an on-going regional programme targeting additional kimberlites in the project area. Like most junior exploration companies the Company does not announce routine results from these on-going regional programmes unless the results are considered to be positive or otherwise price sensitive.  Although kimberlites were not intersected in the first regional drill programme, the Company retains numerous untested kimberlite targets and has also announced (3 December 2012) the discovery of two new surface occurrences of kimberlite from an on-going programme of mapping and prospecting.

Expert evaluation of the Cue 1 diamond sampling results is in progress and will be reported as soon as possible once they become available. Further field evaluation and sampling of the new surface kimberlite occurrences is planned to take place shortly.
