NEVADA PROJECT UPDATE

Sunrise Resources plc, the AIM quoted diversified mineral exploration and development company ("the Company"), is pleased to provide a further positive update on its Bay State Silver Project in the Eureka District of Nevada, USA:

·     Sample results received from the second sampling campaign focused on Chihuahua Splay, Buckeye and Lincoln vein systems

·     Two samples representing aggregate 3.5m width from stockwork mineralisation between Chihuahua Main Vein and Splay Vein average 403 g/t silver (11.8 oz/t)1

·     Base metal analyses reveal high zinc contents. Zinc mineralisation not reported in historical record but new zinc discoveries being made in Eureka District

·     Best chip sample: 1.5m grading 6.3% zinc, 6.6% lead, 0.3% copper, 0.16% tungsten and 579 g/t silver

Commenting today, Executive Chairman Patrick Cheetham said: "I am pleased to be reporting further high grade sampling results which continue to highlight the potential for unworked high grade silver mineralisation at Bay State and confirm the occurrence of zinc mineralisation which has never been recognised at Bay State before our acquisition of the project. We look forward to continuing exploration of this exciting silver project in 2015."

DETAILED INFORMATION

The results now being reported come from a second sampling campaign carried out in November 2014 and follow on from the release made on 20th November 2014 giving results from the first (October 2014) sampling campaign.

In the first sampling campaign high grade silver results were reported from sampling of the main Chihuahua-Buckeye vein system whereas in this second campaign sampling focused on the Chihuahua Splay and the Lincoln Vein.

Two samples taken from narrow open stopes on the Lincoln Vein assayed 10 g/t (0.29 oz/t) and 133 g/t (3.9 oz/t) silver. The vein sections available for sampling likely represent the lower grade material left behind by past mining activity.

The Chihuahua Splay is a mineralised fault that splits off from the main Chihuahua vein at higher elevations on the north side of Mining Canyon. In the upper workings on the Chihuahua Splay historical mine extraction focused on the steeply west dipping splay fault. A sample from the roof of the main stope on this fault assayed 87 g/t (2.5 oz/t) silver whilst sampling in mine tunnel cross-cut heading east from the splay vein has revealed unworked silver and zinc rich mineralisation between the main Chihuahua and Chihuahua Splay veins.

Two samples were taken in the south wall of the cross cut - one chip sample representing 2m horizontal width assayed 228 g/t (6.6 oz/t) silver and a second sample, approximately 2m further into the crosscut and representing a 1.5m thickness to the end of the crosscut assayed 579 g/t (16.9 oz/t) silver. This sample also contained 6.3% zinc, 6.6% lead, 0.3% copper, 0.16% tungsten.

This cross-cut does not reach the main Chihuahua vein (where 11 samples reported from the first sampling campaign averaged 387 g/t (11.3 oz/t) silver along a 280m strike length) and it ends in mineralisation.

These sample results continue to highlight the potential for unworked high grade silver mineralisation at Bay State and confirm the occurrence of zinc mineralisation which has never been recognised at Bay State prior to the Company's recent sampling campaigns - perhaps because its occurrence is visually indistinct.

Two new zinc-silver and silver discoveries have recently been made and are being explored elsewhere in the Eureka district. At the Lone Mountain Project Goldspike Exploration Inc. (TSX-V:GSE) has recently reported a number of thick high grade zinc drill intersections whereas, nearer to the Bay State Project and 37km north along the same structural trend Cypress Development Corporation (TSX-V:CYP) is exploring the Gunman Zinc-Silver Project.

Follow up sampling will now aim to access the main underground workings on the Chihuahua Vein beyond the rock fall in the Chihuahua main adit as these workings are known to extend along the Chihuahua vein system for 200m beyond the northern limit of the Company's current sampling.

Notes:

1.         The silver grade of samples is being reported in the units grammes/tonne (g/t) with the grade in Troy    ounces/short ton (oz/t) in brackets).
