VIRGIN RADIO HOLDINGS LIMITED BOARD CHANGE

SMG plc today announces the departure of Paul Jackson, Chief Executive of 
Virgin Radio. Paul is moving to the role of Managing Director of Capital Radio 
London, part of the GCap Group. He has been CEO of Virgin Radio for the last 8 
months and was previously Virgin Radio's Programme Director, having joined the 
company from Capital Radio in 2001.

Richard Huntingford, Chairman of Virgin Radio, Rob Woodward, Chief Executive of
SMG plc and the new Board of Virgin Radio continue to lead the IPO process.

Commenting on today's announcement, Rob Woodward, Chief Executive of SMG, said:
