Launch of 'Streaks Companion' Customisable AI Confidant

'Streaks Idols' Surpasses 60,000 Messages Sent and 9,135 Registered Users

StreaksAI PLC (LSE: STK), a UK-based generative AI platform, is pleased to announce the launch of 'Streaks Companion', a highly personalised AI chatbot service allowing for sophisticated humanlike companionship, mentorship and digital assistant services.

Streaks Companion offers private chatbots designed for long-term conversations. Each virtual companion is designed for individual use, remaining private and is only accessible through each user's personal account on the Streaks website via the Streaks Companion portal.

The product is powered by Natural Language Processing (NLP) generators including GPT-4, which allows for deep personalisation as the chatbot remembers previous conversations and utilises memory recall to create personalised dialogue specific to each user. Streaks Companion allows users to craft their unique and highly customisable AI companion using intelligent prompts and questions designed to create custom chatbots.

The Company intends Streaks Companion to be used for three distinct services: companionship, mentorship and as a personal assistant. Companionship services can either be romantic or platonic, designed to increase users' confidence in navigating real-life relationships, it also offers a secure environment for users to build relationship skills and develop new romantic experiences. As a mentor, Streaks Companion can provide friendship, as well as advice on personal dilemmas, and as a personal assistant it is intended to support with time management and organisation.

Streaks Companion's potential for use as a personal assistant dovetails with Streaks' development of digital tie-ins including calendar integration, which are expected to release in Q1 2024.

To support the launch, the Company commissioned a survey to determine public sentiment around AI chatbots. The survey of 300 people around the UK was strongly supportive of the potential of AI across companionship, mentorship and as a personal assistant.

For companionship, 73% of respondents reported that chatbots and digital companions could serve as effective tools in combating loneliness and social isolation, and 50% of the participants believe that AI chatbots could play a pivotal role in bolstering confidence in real-life relationships. In addition to this, 26% expressed a willingness to engage in intimate and emotional roleplay with chatbots.

Additionally, AI's potential for mentorship and as a personal assistant was supported by a resounding 72% of respondents, who believe that AI chatbots can be helpful in their day-to-day with a majority (53%) saying the development of such technology will increase their quality of life.

Streaks Companion is available on the Company's website: https://app.streaks.ai/, and users interact with the platform by purchasing credits that cost £4.99 for 100 interactions.

Update on Streaks Idols

Since the launch of Streaks Idols on 21 September, Streaks' social product and AI character generator, the Company has seen promising early sign-ups to the service. Streaks Idols currently has 9,135 registered users. Moreover, in excess of 60,000 aggregate messages have been sent across the platform userbase. The Company is continuing to update the service with new 'Idol' chatbots across a wide range of historical and cultural figures and educational tools.

Moreover, nearly 70% of survey participants reported a keen interest in AI chatbots that embody well-known fictional characters from media sources like TV, books, or games, which vindicates the company's strategy in developing entertainment and education-focused Streaks Idols.

StreaksAI's CEO, Philip Blows, said: "With the launch of Streaks Companion, we are not just delivering a product, but an experience. Whether you're seeking a mentor, a companion, or an assistant, Streaks Companion is our testament to the boundless possibilities of AI tailored to individual needs. Our survey demonstrates the appetite for AI companions is strong and the sector remains underserved by existing products. AI virtual companions will continue to grow in popularity and Streaks is well positioned to meet this demand.

"Streaks Idols has only just launched but we're already seeing positive momentum in sign-ups and conversations. Our team is working hard to continue adding in new chatbots to serve existing demand and build out the platform as our momentum grows."
