Strategic Minerals Plc (AIM: SML; USOTC: SMCDY) has been informed that, following the issue of equity by the Company on 10 April 2014, Glencore AG currently has a notifiable interest in 45,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 6.22% of the Company's issued share capital.  These shares are registered in the name of Vidacos Nominees Ltd.
