                             Purchase of own shares



SThree plc announces that on 1 February 2008, it purchased for cancellation,
13,244 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 198.2191 pence per
share.

The highest price paid was 199 pence per share and the lowest price paid was
193.25 pence per share.

For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 135,477,163 ordinary shares
of 1p each.
