SThree plc announces that on 3 January 2008, it purchased for cancellation,
68,824 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 218.8623 pence per
share.



The highest price paid was 220.00 pence per share and the lowest price paid was
216.50 pence per share.



For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 136,519,273 ordinary shares
of 1p each.
