                             Purchase of own shares


SThree plc announces that on 24 December 2007, it purchased for cancellation,
38,767 ordinary shares of 1p each at an average price of 217.636 pence per
share.


The highest price paid was 220.00 pence per share and the lowest price paid was
215.25 pence per share.


For confirmation the Company's issued capital is now 136,864,145 ordinary shares
of 1p each.
