Pursuant to AIM Rule 17, Steppe Cement Limited (the 'Company') has been advised
by Charlemagne Capital (IOM) Limited that on behalf of managed funds it now
holds 3,110,336 shares in the Company being 2.73% of the total shares in issue.
As a result, Charlemagne Capital has ceased to be a significant shareholder of
the Company.
