STARVEST plc ('STARVEST' or the 'Company') is pleased to announce that the
result of the Extraordinary General Meeting of Members held on Thursday 29 July
2004 was an overwhelming vote in favour of changing the company name from Web
Shareshop (Holdings) plc to STARVEST plc.

The change was registered by the Registrar of Companies on 29 July 2004.
