Final Dividend proposed

Stagecoach Theatre Arts plc, which operates the UK's largest network of
part-time performing arts schools for young people, has proposed to its
shareholders the payment of a final dividend following its preliminary
announcement of final results released on 10th August 2004.

The dividend timetable is:

AGM 14 September 2004 (dividend to be approved by shareholders)

Ex Dividend Date 10 November 2004

Record Date 12 November 2004

Payment Date 30 November 2004
