Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock
Exchange for 50,000,000 ordinary shares of 25 pence to be admitted to the
official list and to trading, respectively, in relation to the share placing
of 1 September 2000. It is expected that admission to the official list and
commencement of dealings, will be on Monday 4 September 2000.
