Acquisition of Stockheim travel catering business

 

SSP Group PLC, a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations worldwide, has agreed1 to acquire part of the Stockheim group2, a travel concessions business based in Germany. The business operates 25 food and beverage outlets in airports and railway stations, including at Düsseldorf and Cologne, and had sales in 2016 of approximately €30m. The acquisition of these outlets will further strengthen SSP's presence in travel locations across Germany, and is expected to complete in early 2018.

 

Commenting on the deal, Oliver Dörschuck, CEO of SSP Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France said; "We are delighted to have acquired Stockheim. The business has some great brands operating in some key locations across Germany."
