Middle East Order Received

SRT is pleased to announce that it has received an order and initial payment for 500 of its Identifier vessel tracking transceivers.

The order will be delivered from existing stock during the first half of the current financial year.  The order is from an existing customer with whom SRT has been working on various projects in the region for some time.  The ultimate customer is a government which is seeking to improve its maritime safety and security.  The order is the start of a significant rollout of vessel tracking projects in the region.

Simon Tucker, CEO, said: "We have been working with this customer on a number of separate projects in the Middle East.  Whilst small, this order is material in that it signifies the start of the rollout in the region which we understand will see thousands of vessels having to fit tracking transceivers.  This order further demonstrates the value of our extensive global customer network which allows SRT simultaneously to address multiple, geographic and vertical market segments worldwide with our core product range."
