Update - VAT repayment claim

Following the announcement on 11 June 2013 that Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs ("HMRC") had applied directly to the Upper Tribunal for permission to appeal against the decision of First Tier Tax Tribunal ("FTT"), the Upper Tribunal have informed Sportech that they have granted permission for the appeal to be heard.   

Sportech has been advised that the case will now be listed for an Upper Tribunal hearing, which is likely to be early to mid 2014.

The Group will update shareholders as soon as more information is available.
