RESIGNATION OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

London, UK - 2 March 2017: Spirent Communications plc ("Spirent", the "Company" or the "Group") (LSE: SPT), a leading communications technology company, today announces that Tom Lantzsch will be stepping down from the Board effective 3 March 2017.

Tom joined Spirent as a non-executive director in May 2015, but has stepped down from the Board to focus on his new role at Intel Corporation as Senior Vice President and General Manager of their Internet of Things (IoT) Group.

Commenting, Alex Walker, Chairman of Spirent, said
