Purchase of shares by a director of Spice Holdings plc ('Spice' or 'the Company')

The Company has today been notified that Michael Shallow, non-executive director
of Spice with effect from 20 September  2006, today purchased 20,000 ordinary
shares of 10 pence each at 282.5 pence per share. Michael Shallow's total 
shareholding in Spice is 20,000 shares (representing approximately 0.04 per cent
of the ordinary issued share capital  of the Company).
