The Company was notified on 1st April 2008 of the following transaction by
Directors / Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibilities ('PDMR') and their
Connected Persons.

On 31 March 2008, Justin Read, Finance Director of Speedy Hire as of 1 April
2008, acquired 19,800 ordinary 5p shares in the Company ('Shares') at a price 
per share of 752.3p.  Following this transaction Mr Read has an interest of 
19,800 Shares representing 0.04% of the issued share capital of the Company.
