                                 Board Change


Speedy Hire Plc announces that Andrew Simpson, Commercial Director, will be
leaving the Company to join Peel Holdings, a large private company with
operations including property, ports and airports.  Andrew will remain with the
business for a period to ensure a smooth hand over of his role and
responsibilities.

Steve Corcoran, Chief Executive of Speedy Hire, commenting on the announcement
said:

'In the last three years Andrew has made a valuable contribution to the Group
through a period of expansion and development, from which we continue to build.
The appointment of a member of our team to a senior role within a larger
organisation is testament to the quality that exists within our Group. We are
extremely pleased for Andrew and we wish him well for the future.'
