Sopheon plc ('the Company') notes the recent rise in the price of its Ordinary
Shares. The Company is not aware of any information which might be price
sensitive which was not contained in the Prospectus dated Thursday 28 October
1999 in connection with, inter alia, the Placing of New Ordinary Shares or the
announcement made on Wednesday 24 November 1999 in connection with the
acquisition of AppliedNet Limited.
