      SUPPLEMENTARY ANNOUNCEMENT RE APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS

                                 
Further  to  the  announcement  on  18  September  2000   of   the
appointment  of  Mr. Andy Michuda, aged 46 and a  citizen  of  the
United  States of America, as Chief Executive with effect from  18
September  2000,  Sopheon  plc  can  confirm  that  there  are  no
disclosures  required in respect of Andy Michuda  under  paragraph
16.8 (e) of the AIM Rules.

Immediately   prior  to  joining  the  board   of   Sopheon   plc,
Mr.Michuda's  current directorships were Teltech Resource  Network
Corporation and the Minnesota High Technology Association.  He has
not held any other directorships during the past five years.

Further  to  the announcement 18 September 2000 of the appointment
of  Mr. Joseph Shuster, aged 68 and a citizen of the United States
of   America,  as  non-executive  director  with  effect  from  18
September  2000,  Sopheon  plc  can  confirm  that  there  are  no
disclosures  required  in respect of Joe Shuster  under  paragraph
16.8 (e) of the AIM Rules.

Immediately   prior  to  joining  the  board   of   Sopheon   plc,
Mr.Shuster's  current directorships were Teltech Resource  Network
Corporation, the William C.Norris Institute and the University  of
Minnesota Technology Evaluation Council.  Other directorships held
during  the  past five years are Winnebago Industries,  Technology
Transfer  Society,  Minnesota Valley  Engineering  and  Restaurant
Technologies.
