            -  NEW HEALTHCARE SECTOR ORDER FROM USA
        -  ESTABLISHMENT OF US SALES AND SUPPORT OFFICE


Sopheon  plc ('Sopheon' and formerly PolyDoc plc) has  won  an
important order in the USA and has established a new sales and
support office.

New healthcare sector order in the US

Sopheon   has  received  an  order  to  supply  its  knowledge
management  software  and  associated  services  to  a   major
pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare company.  The  business
was  won  together  with Teltech Resource Network  Corporation
(http://www.teltech.com),  Sopheons  US  marketing   partner.
Sopheon s  share of this $400,000 contract is  over  $150,000,
most of which will be realised during the first half of  2000.

Sopheon,  together with Teltech, will provide a  comprehensive
knowledge  management  solution  to  enable  the  customer  to
improve  its  capture, assimilation and sharing of information
across a variety of audiences and business partners.

Establishment of US sales and support office

Following  the  recent  successful £8  million  fund  raising,
Sopheon  has  moved quickly to establish a sales  and  support
office in Denver, Colorado.  This office will support existing
US  customers  and  Sopheons  current  and  future  marketing
partners.

Under   the   leadership  of  Paul  Heller,  Sopheons   Chief
Technology Officer, the Denver office has been built up  to  a
seven-strong team with recent appointments including  industry
specialists   who  worked  in  North  America  at   Baan   and
J.D.Edwards.
