Announcement

Appointment of Company Secretary

The Board of Solomon Gold plc (the 'Company') is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Holden as Company Secretary, effective immediately. Mr. Holden replaces Kevin Nagle.

Mr. Holden graduated from the Inns of Court School of Law in the City of London and qualified as a barrister in England and Wales in 1999 (Lincoln's Inn). He was subsequently admitted as a solicitor in 2002. He has worked for a number of law firms in London and is currently a senior associate in the corporate department of Faegre & Benson LLP, Solicitors to the Company. Mr. Holden is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales.

Mr. Holden advised the Company in connection with its admission to trading on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange in February 2006 and has continued to advise the Company since then.
