Signing of an EPC contract for the development

of the photovoltaic project "Satu Mare 2"

Electrica announces the completion of the competitive procedure for selecting an EPC Contractor and the signing on 10 April 2024, by Sunwind Energy S.R.L., its subsidiary, of an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) contract for the "Satu Mare 2" project, respectively the implementation of the photovoltaic park, of the 110 kV substation for the beneficiary, as well as their operation and maintenance for a period of 3 years from commissioning, with a total contract value of approximately EUR 19.3 million (excluding VAT).

The photovoltaic project "Satu Mare 2" has an installed capacity of 27 MWp and is located in Botiz commune, Satu Mare county, and Electrica informed its investors about its acquisition through the current report dated 24 March 2023 (BSE-IRIS code: 361ED, LSE-RNS code: 2119U).

The next steps in this project is to start the actual construction, Electrica estimating its completion and commissioning by the end of 2024, this objective being part of Electrica Group's strategy, by expanding on the electricity value chain, in the area of electricity production from renewable sources.

We remind our investors that on 25 October 2023, Electrica announced the signing of a non-reimbursable financing contract under Investment Measure I1 - Supporting investments in new electricity production capacities from renewable wind and solar energy sources, from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), between its subsidiary Sunwind Energy SRL and the Ministry of Energy, as reform and/or investment coordinator (BSE-IRIS Code: 17166, LSE-RNS Code: 3006R).
