The following amendment has been made to the "Blocklisting" announcement released on 7 May 2013 at 13:39 under RNS No 1384E.

There has been an amendment to the allocation of ordinary shares among the various share schemes

All other details remain unchanged.

("Smurfit Kappa" or the "Company")

Blocklisting

A block listing Application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and to the UK Listing Authority for 10,000,000 ordinary shares of nominal value of €0.001 each in the capital of Smurfit Kappa Group plc ("Ordinary Shares") to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and to the Official List of the Irish Stock Exchange and application has been made to the Irish Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange for these shares to be admitted to trading.  Admission is expected to take place by 10 May 2013.

407,676 Ordinary Shares will be allotted from time to time following the conversion of convertible shares pursuant to the Company's MDP Management Equity Plan; 2,177,949 Ordinary Shares will be allotted from time to time following the conversion of convertible shares pursuant to the Company's Share Incentive Plan 2007; and 7,414,375 Ordinary Shares will be allotted from time to time pursuant to the Company's 2011 Deferred Annual Bonus Plan.
